Can you see how he uses all the colors?

This picture is done by Claude Monet and he named it “Water lilies”. It is a beautiful painting and I could look at it for hours. It is made in oil and looks so alive, the colors kind of melt together. The reflections in the water are just outstanding. He was a great painter, he really found his one style.

I have tried to look for my one way of painting, but the thing is, I really suck at painting, I prefer to make things with my hands, sculptures and such things. But if I have to paint, I try to keep it simple and not think so much of little details because then I would get crazy. I have many good ideas but I’m having trouble to make them look as I want them to. So I would be very happy if I could paint like Emma, Emelie P or Sophie in my class. But perhaps I just should explain my ideas to them and then let them draw it for me!

Yeah and you know, we have one last task in our art class, “the best you can do”. That’s like the hardest thing you can do. It’s free for us to use what technique we want and we can choose how big it is going to be to. That’s just hard… But fortunately for me, I have an idea, but as I said earlier, I cannot paint, so I hope that some kind of miracle is going to happen. That I will wake up and suddenly I can paint! - Never going to happen.

A thought...

I have been thinking about this with body art and tattoos. That’s some type of art, right? But I know for a fact that not everybody feels that way. Some like it and some do not, but of course everybody can not like the same thing, that would be boring.

If I can speak my mind I will say that I like it, I do not have one myself but I like to get one, some day. Something small, I do not like when people get very big ones. Like when they have it all over their backs, and even if they have a shirt one you can see it because the tattoo goes up on the neck. That’s just ugly. But in some way I still admire them for doing something big like that, I wouldn’t have the courage to do something like that. You know you cannot wash it away when you are tired of it…

I know a person that did not get a job because he had a really big tattoo on his arm. He got very mad and I understand him, I would get really mad to, but I understand why the employer acted like he did. Some “old/older” people who seas people with tattoos straight away think that this boy or girl is a slob or something like that. I hope that someday you can have whatever cloths you want and look the way you want and people will just accept it. That would be nice!

Bye bye

Love Linnéa

Yeaaaaaaaaah ;)

Yeah, why not start bloggning right awey? ;)

So this picture is done by Salvador Dali, he made it 1943. So if we look at this picture, what do we see? A man climbing out of the earth, A naked woman and a child looking at the man that is allmost born out of the earth. The blod that is dripping from the earth's cut, what does it stand for? So okey, of course I have an idea ;)

So I think that the man who is climbing out of the eart is in fact Hitler, yepp, you heard me. Okey, this is how I se it. Salvador Dali made this pictur under World War 2, when Hitler was activ, so I think that Dali have made a depicted of how Hilter tore the world apart and the peopel who was not armed just could stand there and look at him while he did it.

The drop of blod I think stands for all the blod that he and his solders tok and all the missery he put manny peopel through. The cloth that is hanging over the erath, hmm, I don't know acually but you perhaps know? soo, coment pls. ;)

Any way, to sum up, I belive that Dali tried to make an picture of Hitler but still hide it from Hitler him self. Why he wanted to hide it? Yeah, I think that if Hitler saw this picture and understod that it was him, he probably would destroy it, big time. Okey, Thats all from me this time! Se you soooooon! ;)
